Welcome to The Pigpen!
Welcome to The Pigpen!
At Pigpens Notorious Bully Kennels, we don’t just breed dogs, we raise family.
We are a family of eight who has spent over 20 years raising and loving American Bullies right inside our home, alongside our six children. Our dogs aren’t kept separate, they are part of our everyday life, which means every puppy is raised with real structure, real attention, and real love from day one.
When we started this journey, it wasn’t about business, it was about commitment. In 2011, we made the decision to move our entire family just so we could continue raising our dogs the right way. That same level of dedication is what we bring into our kennel today.
The Pigpen officially came to life in 2023 with the arrival of RGBK Athena Miss Thang, also known as “Pig.” She represents everything we stand for, structure, temperament, loyalty, and presence.
What you can expect from us:
Family raised puppies with daily human interaction
A focus on temperament just as much as structure
Clean, safe, and loving environment
Honest communication—no games, no pressure
Ongoing support even after your puppy goes home
We understand that bringing a dog into your home is a big decision. Whether you’re looking for a companion, a protector, or your next foundation dog, we take that responsibility seriously.
At The Pigpen, you’re not just getting a dog.
You’re joining a family that stands behind every puppy we produce.
What Goes Home With Your Puppy
We want your transition to be as smooth and stress-free as possible—for both you and your puppy. When you pick up your puppy from The Pigpen, you won’t be going home empty-handed.
Each puppy goes home with:
A health record with up-to-date vaccinations and deworming
A copy of our health guarantee
Registration paperwork (if applicable) All of our breedings are done with American Bully Kennel Club (ABKC) registered dogs, and puppies will either be fully registered or come with the proper paperwork to complete their ABKC registration.
A starter bag of the food they’ve been eating
A blanket or item with familiar scents from our home
Basic training foundation already started
Lifetime breeder support, you can always reach out to us
We take pride in setting both our puppies and their new families up for success from day one.
A Day in the Life at The Pigpen
Our puppies aren’t raised in kennels, they’re raised in the middle of real life.
From the very beginning, they are part of our daily routine. They wake up to a clean, safe environment and start their day with feeding, cleaning, and hands-on interaction. Throughout the day, they’re handled, played with, and exposed to all kinds of everyday sights and sounds, kids playing, TVs, household noise, and other animals.
They spend time socializing with:
Children of all ages
Other dogs
Cats
Even unique animals like snakes and chickens
This kind of exposure helps build confident, well adjusted puppies that aren’t easily overwhelmed in new environments.
As they grow, we begin introducing basic, age appropriate training like:
Crate familiarity
Potty routine foundations
Positive human interaction and boundaries
By the time your puppy comes home, they’re not starting from scratch, they already have a solid foundation to build on.
